    Pre-Order Bonuses

My apologies if a similar thread has been posted before. By now most people know about the special pre-order bonuses among the major retailers (aside from the Cloud DLC that comes with the game):

    Gamestop: Two Samurai outfits
    Amazon: Yuna Summoner outfit
    NewEgg: $5 off
    Others?

Initially I put the pre-order with Gamestop weeks ago before learning about Amazon's bonus. Honestly, the two Samurai outfits look identical to each other; outside of their colors. I'm leaning towards cancelling my pre-order with Gamestop to get the bonus with Amazon; considering that's an outfit I'd probably purchase through PSN anyways.

    Thoughts?

When you pre-order I think in general you get the Cloud outfit as well. I don't think that's limited to one place with the way that they have been advertising it. I thought you got the Aerith outfit from buying off the Square Enix store or the collector's edition I don't remember which, but I think he had one as well.
Curious? There's no limits but your own imagination.

The Aerith garb is available with the purchase of the Collector's Edition.

I would think that eventually all of the different costumes will be available for purchase; so whether you get a certain garb now or later, you will be able to keep Lightning's closet full of elaborate wardrobe choices.

That kind of leads to another question I had. It seemed, at least in the demo, that you're limited in the total amount of schemes you have in your repertoire. It even gives you an option to delete a scheme if you want. You'd think, with so many available schemes/outfits becoming available, you'd have an almost unlimited amount of slots for each of them. Kind of like what they did with the dress spheres for FFX-2, where you could equip a unique grid that holds different spheres than another one.

Schemes are different from outfits. Schemes are just a customization set you have. So you aren't losing any inventory on you. But my guess would be game progress will unlock more slots.

Thanks. I guess I should play the demo again to get a better understanding of it. I just cancelled my Gamestop pre-order and put through a new Amazon one.
