Adamantoise

So, I guess everyone knows the, Adamantoise, right?
It's the big turtle-ish monster who wanders the plains of the Archylte steppe.
My question is, have you ever killed it? I've tried a couple of times and it kills me almost right away. I have won the game, and I have pretty high stats.
If you've killed it, what was your stats and how was the fight?

I sometimes beat it using Death, so I never really beat it. ^^" Casting Death is the easiest way to win this fight. Unfortunately, as soon as those other, blueish turtles appear, Death isn't working anymore. I haven't beat them as well. ^^"

I completed the Crystarium and equipped my party with... good accessoires. Maybe they're not good enough. But still I can't beat those guys.
But if you really want to beat them, I recommend reading those walk throughs throughout the internet - you will find lots of ways to defeat them (telling you with party, which accessoires, which weapons, etc.). ^^

You've maxed out the crystarium? Wow, I have a bit left, it must've taken a while!

I have maxed out my party and given them the best weapons/accesories. It not to hard to beat them after that.
