WOW FFXII and "Split Inifinty"

Hello All,
After years of starting stopping and restarting FF XII. I finished the quest. What an experience. I put 140 hours into the game. Talk about getting your money's worth and I chose not to fight Omerga XII and Yiazmat. I suppose I decided enough already. lol Then again I can always come back and fight them later. I kept one save. Square threw eveything into this game including the kitchen sink. I found the game gratifying because unlike many I did not enjoy FF X. As for the "Split Infinity" walkthrough and guide? What can I say except thank you for a marvelous document. Now for next effort. Should it be Dragon Quest VIII or FF XIII?

Dragon Quest VIII easily. There are casinos, monster catching and tournaments, mini-medals and alchemy. Great voice-actors. Yangus is the man.

I love Dragon Quest VIII. I really hope they continue the series and release another installment.

XII is a great game as far as the gameplay goes. Probably the best in the series. But the story, cast, and story are all forgettable. (Except for maybe the judges, they were pretty badass)
XIII is quite a different page. Much more linear than 12. And I personally loved the story. Personally I'd say give it a go, but you will probably like Dragon Quest more.

Well they have - Dragon Quest IX for the ds and DQ X for the wii/wii u . DQ X is a mmo though and hasn't been released outside of japan. If you knew about those - no worries. DQ is one of SE's flagship titles and with the succes DQ VIII in the west any future titles should see the light of day outside the land of the rising sun.

I keep hitting myself in the head for giving away all my PS2 stuff and games. Dragon Quest VIII was one of them and I never got to even get started in the game and I loved it from the start.
