What's Your Longest Chain?

i think if memory serves i've reached 99 or so in the Lhusu Mines bashing those skeleton warrior things lol

I finally got one around 235,,, maybe it was higher, but I think that was it.

Is the Hene mines to the right after you go in the main entrance, past the first switch, and you just keep running down the hallways with bats in them. You can kill 15 bats at a time, go to the next room, kill 15 more, and back and forth. It's Cake.


But I noticed something. I'm right at 100 hours now, and once you buy enough of those Forgotten Grimores, the whole chain thing doesn't seem to matter. The Grimores (SP) are supposed to do that, make enemies drop better items, and I think it works. They pretty much drop the goods from chain level 2, so you don't have to sit there and kill hundreds.

I got just over 100 in the Sandsea. Lots of the same enemy is good for something after all.

I think Mine was like 800.. I just could not be bothered after that!

i got up to 200 something in the sandsea before i got bored with it. so many yensa's...

My best is only 210 on the skeletons in the Lhusu Mines. I had 99 of all the loot you can get from those after that chain :D

The longest chain I ever did was 165 by killing those humanoid Yensa creatures in Ogir-Yensa Sandsea, I think it was in Primary Tank Complex where only they appear with exception of Elemental every now and then. I actually wasn't going for a high chain level, I was in a need of gil so I went to collect some loot, and since you also obtain 25-30 gil every time you kill one of those Yensa creatures it was a perfect place to earn quick gil at that point in the game.

I got a few times over 200 in the mines of Bujerba (Lhusu mines i think).
I've played the game a few times and i always to at least 200+ chains there just for the money :P

So i had at least 210 chains

The Highest I ever got was a 30 *Everyone laughs* Well... I'm not good at XII! So... Get over it! XD It was in the... God I forgot xD The one with the mirrorknights. I was killing them none-stop, trying to get some goodies =3 Plus, I havent beaten the game yet! Freakin... Boss... Thing..

My highest chain was 300 in the Feywood killing Mirror Knights.
But wow. I'd never have the patience to get my chain to max. >: I felt like giving up on just 160.

i got my Ashe, for chains in the lhusu mines. ut it didnt stop there, i was determined to level up so i think i got about 150 on the same bridge

I think it was about 93 in the forest where you can visit Fran's village.

I got up to a 177 chain i believe in the Lhusu mines - by the end of it, my team was around Level 18 or 19 haha. Regardless, i owned Ba'Gamnan in that fight in Lhusu xD

I stopped at fifty. After, I got the person in the Sky Pirate's Den, I didn't care. I was at the Ogir-Yensa/Nam-Yensa Sandsea. There are plenty of Urutan Yensa's there for the killing. I have also gotten 50-Chain by killing the wolves/hyenas in the Estersand/Westersand/Giza Plains, and skeletons in the Lhusu Mines. Those were in previous playthroughs.

mine was 111 in the airship with all the imperials when you get ashe back

I got up to 180+ in the Lhusu Mines. I think if I would have run around enough or just waited, the skeletons would have respawned, but I was getting a little burnt out at that point.

Yeah, Mine's the 999 neglamuur LvL up technique also. The correct gambits and weapons at the right LvL and you cannot die in that fight. It took me a while to spawn Neg the first time though for some reason. Just let you party auto-fight, put your pad down over night and in the morning you have a ton of great loot and you are god knows how many LvL's higher.
