I've not played ffx-2 for ages now but after seeing some cutscenes on you tube of Shuyin and Lenne my love for it came back and I remembered something that confused me when I was playing the game. I've looked around here but can't see a post on it.

Tidus is said to be the dream created from memories of Shuyin yet he as Tidus is said to have a mother and father who are real. Are these Shuyin's parents?
I get so confused trying to work out if Tidus is real.
Can anyone give me a hand working it out?
