The prize you win if you beat the Goers is a Strength Sphere I believe and as for the two things that Wakka would be holding, if you win he's holding the tournament trophy and if you lose he's holding just a blitzball. He gives either one to Datto before leaving.

Q: What condition does Auron give when he asks Yuna to be her guardian?

A: Caladbolg is a Celtic name, translates roughly to Hard Blade. But, most anybody can tell you that. What fewer people know, there are strong ties between Caladbolg and Excalibur. Several authours used the sword in stories, each twisting the name slightly. Caladvwlch became Caladbolg, Caladbolg became Caliburn, and Caliburn became Excalibur.

A. It was called Longinus, which is literally the name of the spear that cut Jesus Christ. So it's a spear with the ability to kill a God. Which is sweet considering the FFX storyline.

A: Ok for each respective overdrive you need to successfully perform whatever overdrive you choose a certain amount of times.
To get:
Slice & Dice - 10 successful overdrives
Energy Rain - 25 successful overdrives
Blitz Ace - 80 successful overdrives

Q: What is the maximum amount of times that Wakka can hit an opponent with Attack Reels?

(@DMDracoMoondragon: I can only think of one place that you can get Wings to Discovery without bribing a fiend and that is at the Arena and you have to fight Shinryu which is a special battle and if you overkill him you get 2 Wings to Discovery. But only Tidus, Wakka, and Rikku can fight because the battle is underwater.)
