bounty hunters chasing balthier.

So i,m replaying FF XII again once more.
I never had the chance to kill the 4 bountyhunters who wanted to take balthier alive.
What level should my party be and what gear?.

Well when I beat them my characters were between 45 and 60.And on all of them I had a weapon above 90.Sry but I can't remember the armor I had on.

I think I took them on at a little lower level aroun 38-40. They where somewhat challenging at that time but where alot of fun. Actually if I remember correctly it was harder to actually reach them then it was to fight them.

But as for gear I think I only had a few special items and standard gear that the game provided for me.

My gambits is what probably saved my arse though
I have curja HP<40%
and Hi-Ether MP<40%
set on one character and then just ran around on the screen with that characters while I had 2 tanks take down each baddie one at a time.

if ur talking about the hunt then i was lvl40 with Reddas on the team. my armour was the highest in the shop, sorry cant remember. i cant remember the weapons either but balthier had a gun, ashe and basch had swords

Now are you talking about the "hunt" or when you first encounter then and have to run.

I've always wanted to beat them at that first time in Lussu Mines.

yeah, same here, saves much time, the thing is that you have to level up high to do so though

I just ran around building my chain up fighting those skeleton creatures in Lhusu Mines. By the end of my training my team was Level 18 or 19 and i defeated him relatively easily. Hope this helps

Not really. Even if you defeat them in the Lhusu Mines, there is still the Hunt that you can do. It isn't an either/or situation.

I was able to defeat Ba'gamnan and crew at around Level 20 in the Lhusu Mines. It was difficult, but I was able to do it without using Quickenings.

The Hunt, though, whew was it hard. I had Reddas on my team (and Monid as an extra), but even then it was dificult. I used up most of my items, every drop of MP (Espers and Quickenings, not magic), and most of my party was KO'd by the end of it. I had the best armor and weapons that are available at the time, but the characters weren't quite at the Level I wanted them to be at. Luckily, I won and the Headhunters were no more.

I found the first time (fleeing) meeting them was harder then the Hunt itself. I think I went AFK while I was fighting them.

those dumb bangas were weak bothtimes around lvl 17 party destroyed them.
