Worst character, in your opinion?

I know that's what I'm challenging you on, she was a great fighter in my exp, they even have Garnet solo guides. Dunno about you guys, but I hated Freya in battle, jump is cool but.... Dragon crest? It quickly replaces all of her moves, and then DC, Dc, DC everygame, that gets a lot more repetitive to me than tons of different summons and magic.

Oh and Garnet was not annoying, she was a wonderful character.

Anyway, I disliked Quina. Not because it was terrible to use, but because it took so long to get all of the Blue Magic abilities.

I didn't say kids nowadays aren't any better than her, I said that no kids nowadays act like her, in an annoying immature *constantly poking you on the arm until you meet her demands* kind of way.

I find it hard to place anyone above Eiko, no matter how useful she is she's still annoying little brat. Along with Palom, and Yuffie probably the worst character in Final Fantasy franchise.

Gilgamesh was suppose to be a persian or summerian god, not sure which... But his moves sucked besides zantasuken which was on Odin all the time to begin with.... FF8 wasn't the best FF...

Never really been a fan of blue magic so never really used Quina. Wasn't a huge fan of Freya either. If I had to pick a worst though, it'd be Quina. S/he just got annoying.

I have to agree. I'm not a fan of blue magic either, so I always end up hating the Blue Mage. Quina was the worst. Not entertaining, not funny, plain boring and irritating character.... along with Amarant.

I'm not a big Steiner fan either. Am I the only one that think he looks like he's wearing eyeliner...? Maybe there was some cross-dressing going on under that armour... :lol:

Eiko? Worst character? what are you guys smoking? If you have 99 Phoenix Pinions, you had around 40% of having your entire team revived for free (should you get defeated) On top of that, Full-Life and Phoenix are better reviving moves than Garnet's Life. Hell, even Amarant was a better Healer once you get his passive ability that boosts the power of his Chakra move. Even His revive spell, while demanding a good chunk of MP, is a LOT better than Life. And in trance, Both Amarant and Eiko makes perfect healers.

IMO, the worst character is Quina when it comes to battle. And when it comes to character's personalities... I'd say Beatrix is the worst.

I must say Amarant, he was boring and felt as if he didn't belong there, as if he was pushed into the world of FFIX.

My favorite is pretty much everyone else! :D

You clearly didn't use Quina in battle, otherwise you wouldn't write nonsense like this. Quina is by far the most useful character in Final Fantasy IX, every oponent including Necron, and Ozma are nothing but a joke with Quina in your party.

It's Blue Magic such as Angel Snack, Mighty Guard, Magic Hammer, White Wind are key elements in battle against Ozma, not to mention how devastating Quina is with mere 1 HP, pawning every boss through first two discs with only one hit. As for level one playthrough, there isn't one without Quina.

I Do agree with with Gilgamesh tho... he is just blahh.... :ohno:
