Does anyone else wish we could see more about Laguna's time in Winhill? I liked Raine and I was little bummed that we didn't get see more her. Admittedly, I always hoped that they'd come out with something that showed more about Winhill and how exactly a sensible woman like her wound up with Laguna.

I always wanted to know more about that myself, although I think everything we needed to know was covered in Laguna or his companions dialog. It wasn't really relevant in the scope of the fight against Ultimecia. Laguna and Raine being Squall's parents was as indirectly confirmed as it was going to get; Squall never seemed particularly interested in his own background. After all, he knew he was an orphan and made no reaction when Kiros hinted at who his parents were, and I think that's why his origins were never directly stated in the dialog.

It would've been nice if they could've gone more in-depth with that along with Squall's early childhood before he went to live with Edea.

I wish the whole "Laguna is Squall's father" plot point had been exploited and explored in more depth in game. For one thing I would have loved to have seen Squall's reaction upon finding out that a person he thought foolish is his father. That would have been funny! Although considering the serious tone of the end ofcthe game it may not have worked. :-\
