It's a good laugh and a decent photoshop. But there is one of two things, it is either a very old photoshop or a new one and the creator forgot that Sony updated their PS3 game covers when the slim came out. The covers no longer have Playstation 3 down the side, it just says PS3 at the top.
All of the artwork is pulled from the big art showing for FFVII that Square made with Advent Children CG quality for the original character designs and stills taken from the movie. I'm pretty sure I have those pieces around somewhere, used to use them as wallpaper for my PC for a while.
Curious? There's no limits but your own imagination.

Why would they create the box art before showing off any other portion of the game? That's the first suspicious part of this whole debacle. Give us some leaked game photos and vids and then we'll have a discussion.

WE NEED PROOF. Until we see some CONCRETE evidence of this I will not believe it even though I really want to. As usual it COULD all be RUMOURS I have followed this issue ever since I saw the Tech Demo for the PS3. There was confirmation from Hideo Kojima that a remake was on the way. Soon after he said he had spoken to the main programmer of the original FF7 and he said it would take betweenh 9-10 years to remake and Kojima said he would only remake it if they could bang it out within a couple of years. I still have hope for a remake but until I see and hear CONCRETE evidence I am not gonna get excited.

FFVII's success was the start of their fall from grace. The people in charge put on their money blinders and lost track of what made the Final Fantasy franchise what it was. Until they start producing quality games, stop releasing unfinished products like FFXIV, and stop churning out games with enough plot holes to sink a fleet of ships like the FFXIII series, they will never be able to surpass FFVII.
My interest was halted after IX to be honest. I played X, but that was really about it for me. I haven't played any after X. Still, I continue to go back to VII and VIII. I just can't go anymore. I even heard they went to a linear story and game style with the newer one that came out for the next-gen consoles.
