I just commented on something in the FFX section and it made me think...

would any of you lovely people (the fans) like another FFVII movie?

Personally I wouldn't, i think that SE are going a bit OTT with the FFVII series.

The story of VII may be enough to make thousands of movies about it, but every sequel lacks quality, if you ask me. Besides, there are enough sequel games out, so there's no need for more.

I liked what they did with the movie when they released Advent Children Complete, but I don't think I'd want another FFVII movie. I'll always love FFVII, and it's one of my favorites, but I think that Square-Enix needs to move on. I dislike the backlash that this game has, and I think that because SE gives this game more attention than the other titles has led to most of the hate (and some of the creepy-ass fanbase out there has something to do with it as well).

No, i thought the idea of a remake for a CONSOLE was a bad idea, all in all it should have been left alone.

Like I said you guys are right they have been focusing on FF7 way to much I just wanted to throw out that idea and look what happened, you viciously attacked it and tore it to shreds. Thanks for the info.

I feel that anything new to the FFVII would be beating a dead horse. I think w/e they do with the next story involving Genesis needs to be it. otherwise it could totally go the way of titles like Silent hill, or Resident Evil, etc. you guys get the idea. I just don't want the story to get watered down cause it is an amazing story as it is.
