So I have the ps1 version of 5 on the ps3 from the store and all had been well and fine until I got up to the fork tower in the third world. I beat the Minitaurus boss easily and then when it goes to the cut scene before you have to fight Omniscient and right before the battle begins it just comes up with Square soft and returns to the main menu. I have tried twice and it still does the same thing.

Has this happened to anyone else? anyone know how to fix it or how I can go about this?

A helpful reply would be greatfully appreciated as I have come so close to finishing the game and there is no way i am starting again plus this is my first time playing through so its not as if I have already finished and can just give up.
