Is that the wall that closes in on you and kills you? Cast slow on it, and don't use jump. You shouldn't have too much trouble with it. =\ Youtube it, or search for a faq on Gamefaqs.

    Wrong forum.

It might take a few tries, just give it all you've got. And I disagree Jump helps.

I read it's not a good idea, maybe because jump takes a while? In that case haste would help. I dunno. Jump then. =] Haha, I beat it without jumping.

Don't have to use Jump, i think it's better to have Kain in the front, i suggest having 3 in front, but use Slow,Haste and strongest weapons.
Don't remember what party was then but if you can use shurikens that's really good.

If it still doesn't work then you probably need to level up more..

One thing I always found that helps, if you have the "Float" spell (not sure of what it's called in the GBA version) Go and knock through the Cave of Sylph and Cave of the Summoned Monsters. This should get you better weapons and levels.

    Re: FF IV demon wall

Well be sure to caste haste on your guys (Rosa then Rydia,Edge,Cecil,Kain don't jump say Kain does 4000 for jumping but does 1800 on a normal attack he can attack 3 times within that jump time meaning he can do 5400 in total in the time when he could be jumping. Berserk Cecil with Rosa or use bachus cider (wrong spelling). Have edge pretty much throw everything but the kitchen sink, at the beginning shurikens but if the wall is getting really close throw weapons. Have Rydia cast Titan in the SNES version or Dragon in the DS version, Titan in the GBA one too. When Rosa is done casting haste she can just attack.

    Hope I helped

Haste helps, just keep summoning Titan, use Edge to throw whatever shuriken or weapon that you dont need and just attack normally with Cecil. Its more of a battle with time than anything else.

always hasted Rosa, then either Titan or Dragon, throwing shurkins or weapons and then attacking with Cecil and Kain, I actually keep Kain on the ground just because of the time crunch and I can get 2 attacks from Kain instead of waiting for one jump.

The tips for defeating the Demon Wall depends on whichever walkthrough that you're using at the minute. Dawezy's FFIV Walkthrough covers how to defeat the Demon Wall, but my suggestion is to turn down the battle level prior to taking it on for an easier way.

By the time I got there, Rydia was on level 50 and learned Flare, which owned that wall in no time.
