World Map--FF 1

just started playing FF1 on my itouch--it shows a button to view the world map but it does not show it---do I acquire the map at some point?

As far as i know, there is no world map at all in FFI. Sorry man

I know on the GBA, to view the map you have to do the magic spell...

I have only played FFI on the GBA, so I don't know how it is when played elsewhere.

If you play the GBA version on the DS you hold B and then press select and the whole map comes up with the names of every place you can visit.

I believe every version has the map. I have the digital remaster for PS1 (Origins) and it's B and Select.

Once you gain the Airship try pressing the World Map button if it doesn't work I don't know how to help you.

I have only played the NES version where it is B+Select. Try going and talking to the brooms in Matoya's Cave.
