They should def do this, because I'd rather have a digital copy than a disc, course if they never do this I will buy the disc.
I believe it's already on there as a download for the PSP system. I was recently looking over PSN for some new PSP games, and found them in the PSP section. So you can't play it via the PS3 system - you need a PSP and a large enough memory stick.
Too bad I already have them on UMD.
