the idea is neat but wouldnt it cost you a load for using it for soooooooooooooo.....long? we're talking about a game here on cellphone.
Has anyone tried the cell phone version of Final Fantasy? I have sprint and I've been thinking of trying it, but most cell phone games are bad. As anyone tried it? How does it live up to the other versions of that game like PS, GBA, or PSP?
This is my signature. It's not good now, but later on it might be. Who can say...
...can you?

Are we talking about Before Crisis: FFVII? Cos I heard it was ok but not great. Materia is decided by colour dominance in pictures is a feature I wouldn't like. . . .
CPC8- 'fo bros, 'fo life, 'fo shizzle
SPOILER!!:
No it's just plain ol' Final Fantasy I. Before Crisis isin't in America I believe. And it shouldn't cost you minutes to play an app on your phone.

It's an okay game, I bought it. It's fun to play at work, not at home. Because it's well.... ON YOUR CELL PHONE. Ahaha.
It's decent though, well worth 8 bucks.
On iPhone IT IS AWESOME.
Though I do miss having actual buttons a good deal...
Eaither way it plays good, looks good and is very well priced compared with most other releases of it.

I love it so far, I bought the version off blackberry app world about 6 hours ago and just now felt like I could bear to part with it for a little while. It looks and sounds terrific and I don't mind not havind the controller to play with since the trackball works so well as a mutifuctunal tool. I also think its nice to be able to play with one thumb!!!! If square keeps up w/ these mobile releases - think a lot more people will see exactly what was so great about all these classics. FFI mobile rulez!!!
On the android market they at least have I - VI available for free - However, it is not compatible with the Droid X
It is a good game I got it for (whispers) free on my N95 from finalfantasyplanet.blogspot.com
The more things change, The more they stay the same.
I bought ff2 for the iPhone. I think it's awesome. My girlfriend is alwYs taking forever to do everything so I wait around alot. Haven't been bored since I bought it. Though the graphics are beautifully redone, I miss the old school nintendo graphics.
I bought the app and played through it. First FF game I ever beat. Its great. Crisp graphics without ruining the FF1 style...control is pretty good too.
Final Fantasies I've Beaten: FFI, FFXIII
Currently Playing: FFIX
Yes I currently have it now on my blackberry curve and I beat it twice no once in 46hours and the other time in jus under 25 hours. I am currently thinking about starting up a solo quest with like either the theif/ninja white mage/wizard or the fighter/monk. The only things I noticed different from the two versions is the name of weapons/items and the item status effects and a quirk is the grave of the fallen solider lol maybe link or that cat off dragon quest
