I think mine was Galaga in the arcade. My grandparents owned a bowling alley so I spent a lot of time in the arcade. As far as at home games, it was either Mario Bros or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Tournament for the SNES.

@ Kyreaan: YAY someone else who knows what Galaga is! I mention it or PacMan around here and they look at me as though I've lost my mind lol.
Okay, this might sound like bad parenting, but my first game was on the PSONE, and I'll give you a hint: it's a survival Horror by CAPCOM, and it's third title was a complete and utter fail, no new titles of this game have been released, nor been spoke of by those who created it :(.
Okay, it was Dino Crisis One, and Dino Crisis Two. I absolutely loved the hell out of DCONE and have gotten all three ends and the costumes :). I played it when me and my mother moved in with my step father, and I was... seven? or maybe six? Oh, whatever. It would always scare me when I came face-to-face with a Dino, especially when I had to ammunition!
Love Jilly!
Mine first game was Mario.
I think it was a Justice League or Captain America game for the Super NES. It's been too long, I don't remember exactly, but I do think it was the first video game I ever saw.
My first game was mario
I don't know which came first sonic the hedgehog or mortal kombat 3
The first video game that I ever played was Super Mario 64 on the Nintendo 64. Good times, let me tell you. I was never personally able to save Peach from Bowser back when I was 5-6ish, but I'd love to get the game again since I still do have that ancient Nintendo. I want to jump into all of the portraits and attain all of the stars.x
If i remember correctly it was on the NES and you run across a space ship and shoot aliens.
I don't remember exactly since I technically played the NES at my cousins when I was a baby. But when I did the 30days of Gaming I put Super Mario World as my first since I remember being like 4 and playing it. Fun fact I also played Chrono Trigger around tha tage but I didn't understand much. I also played Mystic Quest ( which was the first rpg I understood what I was doing) Haters gonna hate
Oh wow let's think back. I know that the first system we had was an SNES and I was 3 when my brother got that. the first game i actually owned that I still have is SNES Super MarioKart. Many day spent in battle mode for ever. Um I think the first game I actually played was Super Mario World for SNES. I remember that my mom used to run daycare out of the house, but she was always big on arcade games and mario as a teen, so when the kids went down for naps and stuff, she'd play all kinds of games with me. We used to get all the way to the end of Donkey Kong Country and Super Mario. I really miss that. To this day she's the only one I can't beat consistently at Super MarioKart. She uses the arcade joystick controller too
The first video game i remember is Manic Miner on the old Spectrum.
After that.....is a few Amiga Games on my old Amiga 500. Namely The Settlers and Brian the Lion
I do also remeber this game on NES where you play as two chipmunks i think, not sure what its called :L
The first game I ever played was I think... Pokemon for GBA,but I'm not sure.
...But I remember the first game I ever watched being played and that was Final Fantasy 8(which is why I wanted to play Final Fantasy in the first place). I was really little and my stepdad was hoggin up the TV with it...soo yeah :) I think he may have let me mash the 'x' button while he was he fighting a random fiend, but I don't know if you would call that 'playing' or not.A little off topic but oh well
I remember the first game I've played like it was yesterday. I got my gameboy when I was seven years old and got the Pokemon Red version to play.
The earliest I can possibly remember is something on the Commodore 64. My mom tells me we used to play Monster Trivia (?) a lot and a couple other games.
Before the NES, also at the time of the Commodore 64, we had an Atari. I do NOT remember any games I had on it aside from Pong and Empire Strikes Back. At the time, I did not know anything about Star Wars, and I don't even remember anything about the game other than flying about in a snow speeder and running into AT-ATs over and over, hence I know it was Empire.
The first major console I remember playing on was the NES. The first game I really remember playing on it was Ice Hockey, this was around age.... 4, maybe? It was a friend's who lived up the street, I didn't get an NES of my own until a yard sale where I bought one when I was 7 or 8.
I don't recall the year I got my SNES. It was for Christmas, so I'm thinking I was 5, I *think* it was the year it hit the market (1991). Christmas when I was 6 was spent out of town in Arizona, so it may have been when I was 7... but I remember the year I got my SNES I was helping to put presents under the tree and my brother handed me one and said "Here Sean" and my mom flipped, thinking I was going to open it early. It was my SNES, as I later found out on Christmas.
I'm pretty sure I've been "gaming" since I before I can actually recall memories and had much cognitive ability, though.
TEKKEN
The first installment of tekken on the playstaion. My cousin had a ps1 and I used to play when i went to his house. I was around 6 and he would have been 20 or so, the first ridge racer probably would have been my second game
Sonic the Hedgehog 2 was the first ever video game i played way back on the old Sega. Since then, i've had a fascination with the blue spiky hedgehog and his awesome orange fox buddy xD
The first game I ever played was on my brother's SNES, I'm not sure what it was but it scared the be jeesus out of me. It had really weird aliens in it I recall. The others followed when I was a little older when my sister got a sega megadrive! I F**king loooove sega!! Splatterhouse, Puggsy, Sonic, Flink, Wiz n Liz. Fookin amazing games, and wonderful memories!! :)
Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt was the first game I played. Don't really remember beating the game, but I was only 3 years old. I also played Jaws, Megaman 1-4, The hunt for Red October, and about a dozen others I can't really remember by name, but remember we had them from the rectangular black case we stored them in.
The first video game I ever played was the first Sonic the Hedgehog game. I have no idea how old I was when I first started playing. I can't remember a time before I was playing video games... =/
Oh my first game was spyro 2!<3 i was maybe 2 and a half or 3 i always bugged my bro to let me play... it woulda been spyro 1 but i broke that and spilled apple juice on the first ps1 we had -_- im so stupid
My first video game was Duck Shooter on NES I remember it dearly I loved all my old games on nes I also had mario brothers as well.
Pong ftw!!!!
If memory serves me well, Sonic the Hedgehog on the megadrive wouldbe my first game I'd ever played. Still love that game (although Sonic 2 is the best in the franchise) and personally think it's better than Mario.
wait no! my first game i had played was Mr. Driller for the PS1 didnt it get recalled for sejurs? (cant spell right)
Me and my dad played Wolfenstien and Doom 2 when I was about 4 or 5 years old. I still remember sitting on his lap in front of the computer killing monsters with the double barrel shotgun.
My first game was Super Mario Bros/Duck hunt for the NES.
Fun fact: I actually owned the NES before I was even born. My parents had bough it to play while my mom was pregnant with the intention of giving it to me once I was old enough to hold the controller.
Combat (Atari 2600)
