... So I've been playing FFIVA lately, and for some reason, I started thinking. There are a few places where you have to go around something in one direction or another, while both paths are open and equal distance, to arrive at the same place. (For example, the Crystal room in Mysidia to get to the Tower of Prayers, or the throne room on the Moon and subsequent Crystal room to get to the entrance to the Lunar Subterranian.)
Anyway ...
When there are multiple, equal-distance paths to the same objective, which do you take? Do you always go to one side or the other? Or do you alternate?
I've found myself going different directions at random around obstacles, unless I have two of the same situations in a row (such as FFIV's Crystal Palace), in which case I'll alternate (such as going left around the throne and right around the Crystals, or vice-versa). And for some reason, I was wondering what everybody else does.
