Link looks goddamn awful on that picture, still, I don't think he deserves a place on this list. Leo and Bridget should swap places, the first time I saw Leo I actually though he was a girl (damn that Japanese style, it's so deceiving). I'm also surprised not to see Kuja among them, he would be top ranked.

I love how long hair + no facial hair = androgynous. Did anyone actually mistake Link or Alucard for a woman?

That being said, Bridget totally deserved to win. Sorry, chief, but dude looks like a lady. Or lady looks like a dude. I'm not sure which.

this was pretty stupid, many of these had no place at all on this list.

does the writier not realise that vega is from spain, and that he is waering matador pants?

does he also not realise that alucard is from 14th century europe, therefore wearing period clothing.

does he not realize that aerosmith has probably gotten layed with more women in the last week then he will in his whole life!?

instead of toad, they probably would have made the list more interesting by putting birdo on the list who is a guy (and likely gay too as he is in love with yoshi).

it just seems that whoever wrote this article didnt really think too much before writing this

I had to look up the definition to double check. One that they give is, "having an ambiguous sexual identity," which sort of threw me off since it's so vague. Not sure that cross-dressing (oh so, so well) would make you androgynous. Hmm...

Thanks, SOLDIER #819, it just pisses me off that the list would write King as androgynous(who doesn't even look anything like a man) and not list Ash.
Also, if you think that Vega, Yugi Moto, Alucard, or Link look anything like a female then you need to sell your copy of Gears of War and go buy 5 Jrpg's.

Also,where is Kuja?! I mean, if there's anyone who deserves to be on that list, it's him.

true, who ever wrote this article most likely has an xbox or a 360 and has probably never played a japanese inspired game before

Of all the androgynous-looking Final Fantasy characters, they went with Luneth? I guess I see it a little, but there are others who look WAY more androgynous than him. I agree that Kuja could be up there, since he does have those curvy hips, but has anyone thought about Emperor Mateus? He looks rather feminine. Also, Sorceress Adel could rank high in the list.

Since they have non-human characters listed, I would go with the Mr. Saturns from the Mother series. Yeah, they have "Mr." in thier names, but there's gotta be some females in the group!

Kuja is not on this list, therefore it is invalid.

Seriously, the game is ten years old and there are still people out there who think he's a girl. He's pretty much the definition of androgynous, imo.

And this may say more about me than the person who wrote the list but I didn't have a hard time identifying the listed characters' genders. I'm surprised the they didn't just list all the characters who are actually referred to as 'it' or are otherwise just not intended to have a definitive gender either way. Like Quina.

Maybe I just watch too much anime and/or play too many JRPGs, hah. (Which is probably true either way.)

Luneth wears a fanny pack, a belt shirt, white skinny jeans, a purple neck sweater and has platinum blond hair. Totally androgynous, Dodie. Far more than Mateus and Adel, at any rate.

But still, Luneth doesn't wear make-up. Nothing about him is really annoying, either. He's just wearing clothes! I mean, heck. Ingus is wearing a tunic that we all know resembles a dress without a belt. xD And he didn't end up in the list.

He has a great sense of justice, and his freelancer look is fine enough for a 15 year old boy.

Some of the characters on this list didn't belong. And WHERE'S KUJA!? I thought for sure he'd, of all people, make that number 1 spot. That Bridget is hard to top, but still!

And why isn't Quina Quen in any of these discussions? That's like the answer of all time, space, and the whole universe: What gender is Quina, anyway?

This guy should've looked up a few more characters, or at least added somemore. I will not back down from Kuja not being anywhere on the list.
