Square Enix has a new PS4 Game to Reveal

Square Enix announced that they have a new PS4 that they're going to be revealing this week. It is currently only known as Project Code Z with an image of a forest. So it is all guess and speculation if this is a new IP or part of an existing franchise. Square did promise in December that they had several announcements to be coming in the new year. This looks to be the start of it.

It looks all foresty in that picture, it could be hinting at a Mana game. That's what some of the people who commented on this thought. Hopefully it will be a good mana game if that's what it turns out to be, it will probably have an Seiken Densetsu 2/Secret of Mana DLC crossover thing if it does because that was what the Vita title 'Rise of Mana' game featured.

Yeah, I left my guess out of the post. But the moment I saw the forest I thought of the mana series. I've only played two of the games, but they were fun and it'd be nice to see a return of the series to the consoles.

Wow, such a dissapointment. Some spelunker game. Life is strange, now this. Square dont care bout anything but money and trying to appeal to wider audiences. My faith is heavily shaken.

Yeah, I was trying to decide if I wanted to actually say anything about it. Since it was a game no one here had any interest in and was likely a Japan only game. Life is Strange however comes from the team at Dontnod, which made Remember Me and I really enjoyed that game. And I've been hearing good things about Life is Strange. So I think that'll do fine. Square does publish and make games other than RPGs.
