Nah, it wasn't Sony. I wish they would have done that. All they said to me, since my warranty was gone, was that if I sent in my broken PS3 they would fix it for $150 (half the price of a new one).
I got the new PS3 as a gift.

Demon's Souls! I hope you're able to find it. I remember hearing about people that were having difficulty with locating copies of the game only like a week after it getting released. Though I think I remember Atlus saying they shipped another round of the games, but Atlus pushes so few quantities of games these days because they're afraid of having a lot of unsold copies. So when they get a hit that comes along it disappears. Hope you're able to find it, the game is really worth playing.
Last I heard Atlus was on the case, but who knows with them.
Uncharted 2 will blow your mind, friend. Assassin's Creed 2 probably won't, but it's awesome all the same.
