    performing glitches in games

How many of you like to, once in a while mess around with the game doing all sorts of weird stuff? I'm one of those people who like trying to make glitches happen. What games do you like to perform glitches on? The games that come to mind for me are: Driver, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1-4, Super Bomberman 2, and the sonic games.

I love doing glitches actually, my favourites to do it in is the Legend of Zelda series. My personal favourite glitch is the Back in Time glitch which can be done in the Wii version of Twilight Princess. I like it most for it's the first glitch I learned lol. Still haven't learned Early Master Sword glitch though

I only glitched in Ocarina of Time when I pretty much Mastered it and wanted to screw around. I turned my entire inventory into bottles. Riding Epona with any weapon.....the UBER CHALLENGE.

I remember that glitch. I did it to a few of my items too, but not all of 'em. You are a brave one indeed to do that to all of your items in your inventory! I did the underwater fishing glitch in that game too. I read about it in the back pages of one of my Nintendo Power magazines and wanted to try it out.

This isn't really anything big, but I like it when I have a character that follows the main character you control, and they get stuck in a jump animation. Like in Final Fantasy XIII, when Lightning kept jumping up onto a ledge and jumping off again because I guess her AI couldn't figure out where to stay.

I know... I am far too easily entertained. xD I can't think of any other glitches in games that exploited for my own amusement though.

wow, don't think i've done any of those things in OoT, oh well. I totally remember messing around on driver 1, the glitches vary from cops flying in the air to the player going inside a building (from above). the most memorible moment is when i did the SF level on survival mode. there were 3 cops in mid-air at one point and my car jumped when i went down the hill fast and i slammed into one of the cops and the cop car went flying into the distance and when i drove further downtown, i saw the cop car falling from the sky into a faraway building.

    Re: performing glitches in games

Speaking of Zelda games, how about the glitch in Link's Awakening where if you press pause just before entering the next screen, when you un-pause, you're now in the corresponding spot on the next screen? I messed around with that a lot. It had especially interesting effects when you did this in the dungeons. I actually ended up in the end boss's chamber that way once, heh.

I also liked clipping through walls in Daggerfall and flying around, looking at the layout of the dungeons. Think I also found a way to do that in Morrowind and Oblivion at one point, though it's much harder in those games. Also; putting people's bodies through walls in Oblivion and watching them spaz out while they try to reach a resting place on the ground, but never can, heh.

And of course, there's MissingNo. from Pokemon. Caught a few of those back in the day. Anyhoo...

I found a glitch in Oblivion once. In one of the Gates theres a dead horse. I looted it for this item that just said ??2. Then could't move :/ I ended up being able to move after a few minutes and went on my way through the game. The item appeared as a Green block in the inventory, It sold at the shop for 3g but when I tried to sell it It went back in my inventory adding 1 more to the total amount I was carrying, Anyone else ever get that?

The only glitch that I've used is the Armory Run for General Knoxx (Borderlands DLC). You are supposed to only have 2 mins or so to open as many chests as you can before the place blows sky high. However, there's a spot in the floor that you can drop through and you can raid the entire stash without a time limit.

Although given how the place is set up, I think the glitch is intentional.

theres a few glitches that have accidently made the game Halo 2 even more competitive by creating a potential skill gap for those that can use them in the appropriate manner compared to others who can't.

here's a vid of a few of them for those that have interest.

With that being said, I like to run around the maps quadshotting the walls when I'm bored. Builds finger dexterity!

Then again this one is kind of on the outs with me if she doesn't straighten up and fly right so that means I will be back in it for the thrill of the kill. Got some in the reserves. Even got a rePETEr (<---- like that ay? AYYYYY?) on the back burner.

Block: I do like the rePETEr except it kinda makes it sound like you're going to pork Pete. No homo.

    Re: performing glitches in games

Heh. Seems like alot of people do glitches in Zelda games. I'm one of them too.

In Twilight Princess, I did the one glitch, where you can have Link underwater without the Zora armor, and without him running out of breath or whatever. That one was fun.

And I did another one in Phantom Hourglass. It was one where you use the clawshot or something, and you have to be inside this one dungeon, and when you use it, you can't exit the dungeon, unless you go into a different room, or something. I can't remember it very well... It's been a long time.

Those are a few glitches I did.

The only glitch i ever did on purpose was that MisingNo glitch in older Pokemon games, my rest experience with glitches were just coincidental, like that glitch in Final Fantasy III that made my Knight able to level up after every battle.

I don't use glitches to often... Unless of course it is superbounce in Halo.

I used the rare candy glitch a bunch in Pokemon Red. I caught a few missingo and it f*cked my save file up bad.

Sitting here waiting for Rocky, and Che to notice me!!
