LOLI'm Guessing That Means Your Not Going To Be Social For A While Since You Will Be Locked In Your Room Playing That Game For Long Periods Of Time When It Comes Out?
Now, For The Subject At Hand, Well, It Looks Like A Pretty Cool Game, If I Could Get A PS3 And/Or X-BOX 360, Then I Could Get It, Which Will Then Be Awesome. I've Played Elder Scrolls Before, So Yeah. Its Not A Bad Game Series. Not My Most Favorite Game Series, But It Is Pretty High Up There. Lookin Good, So Might Make People Happy![]()
I'm mad for epic roaming games. Oblivion and the Fallout's were amazing games for me because I'm a single player gamer on most accounts so I love games where I can roam about a world or place and do as I like, really get into it. Although I thought oblivion lacked what they're more than going to make up for in Skyrim.
It's a PC game too by the way if you don't own a console!
And DRAGONS! :drool
I Prefer The Console Games, But I Did Play And Actually Have FFVII On The PC, So I Guess I Could Play It On The PC, Who Knows...Only Time Will Tell.
I Agree With You On The Fact That When I Love A Game, And I Just Got It From The Store, I'd Be At My House, In My Playroom, Opening The Game, And Playing It For Hours On End, Getting Better And Better At It And Then Completely Pwning It Within A Month Or So Of Gameplay. Although Some Games Take Me Less Than A Week To Complete...LOLBut It Really Depends On The Game, Some Take Less Time To Beat, And Some Take Even Longer To Beat Than Most Games. It Usually Doesn't Take Me That Long To Beat A Game Though. Like I Said, It Really Depends On The Content, The Difficulty, How It Is Laid Out, etc...

I know what you mean! I literally beasted up Gears of War 3 on my friends '360 in like 7 hours gameplay, but then it's made for mainly online playing unfortunately. I guess it also depends on how much you want to play the game too, been waiting on Skyrim a while now![]()
I also like to play the first playthrough on the hardest available setting so that way it's a challenge, I don't enjoy a game as much if it's too easy but again it depends on what you want to play a particular game for! XD
That Is 110% True! It Does Depend On How You Feel About The Game, And If You Feel Like Having A Challenge, That Will Change How You Play The Game, And Also How Much Time You Would Be Willing To Put Into Playing Said Game. It Is Also Pretty Based On what Feel Like Doing As Well. Your Moods And Emotions Play A Key Role Into what You Play, And How Well You Will Do Playing That Game. If You Got The Drive, You WILL Go Far In A Certain Game. Thats The Truth Man. Some Days You Do Well, And Some Days You Don't, It Is All Based On Mood.
Skyrim is going to be on every platform but the Wii.
and I've been patiently waiting for this game.

Right when I saw the thread title I knew it was Skyrim <3! I have watched that trailer about 5 times, & again just know, but it still interests me everytime. Hopefully I'll get to enjoy it before I'm shipped off, if not, I'll just have to wait.
When I started playing Oblivion my social life went down the drain, so I can only imagine what this will do to it!

DS is number one selling for 3 reasons.
1. They own Pokemon
2. They own Mario
3. They own LoZ
^PSP 1000s were vastly superior to DS originals and they were both released around the same time, but Sony lost out just because they don't have those same titles that kids love
^^ And yea, About Skyrim? Can't waitPre-ordered on PC

Well, Nintendo Is Comming Up With The Wii U, Which Is Actually Pretty Siick, And Has Some Awesome Features. It Is Probly Going To Be On Top For A While, But Then PS4 And X-BOX 720 Is Gonna Probly Win In The End, But For Now It Is Pretty Cool, And It Is Looking Good Too. Anyway, Skyrim Is Gonna Make A Lot Of Social People Who Like RPG's Go Anti-Social Within A Matter Of A Nano-Second, Cause As Soon As They Get They Hands On It, Nothing Else Will Matter...XD There Might Be Some Hospitalized Gamers Within The First Week Or So Of This Game's Release...I Can Just See It Right Now, Hospitals Getting Patients Left And Right Needing Immediate Attention.
I want to get this game so much. I will, however, wait until the initial rush dies down to actually buy it. I have never wanted to get a game on day 1. I am happy waiting until at least day 4...um, wait, day 3...no, err, 2. Yeah, day 2, and that's my final offer.
I hit the Post Reply button before I was done. Anyway, I will definitely wait for the game. I still have to finish Morrowind, and Oblivion. I am closer to complete in Oblivion.
So yeah, one day, I will get Skyrim.
Social Group Endorsements, TFF Awards, and Other Accomplishments (Updated December 26, 2013):
I pre-ordered the collectors edition on Wednesday (the £130 one). Seriously.
...yeah. I'm gonna enjoy this game. I really can't wait.
My thing is. If you've waited this long. You can wait![]()

I enjoyed Oblivion, it had it's flaws, some more irritating than others but it was a good game, in other words I'm looking forward to Skyrim. I'm still bit concerned to be honest, Oblivion was noticeably simplified compared to Morrowind as far as equipment goes, it seems it's even worse in Skyrim. For a PC gamer it's really tragic Bethesda chose consoles as their lead platform, I mean they make good ports and all, but knowing how much better this game could have been, I don't know...
On a positive note, I'm glad they learned their lesson as far as leveling system goes, the one in Oblivion was simply terrible.

Xan, who cares how good the game could be when you can make millions of more dollars. It's how things are run now.
Oblivion has 3 types of armor, they just have 2 as a skill. Light, Heavy and then normal Clothing such as Robes. The Spear thing makes me lol. You know how many weapons they could put in their games. A Spear is pathetic compared to so many.
Another thing, Skyrim isn't Morrowind, it's a different culture so yeah different types of equipment. Is China supposed to wear the same things as India do?
I understand some parts of a game are not as good as the previous but overall? It's better then it's previous title and the sequel will be even better.
Skyrim which indeed fix the leveling is what I really enjoy. As fun as Oblivion's is even though you can customize your stats and what not, it's still a pain.

First of all, it seems you didn't quite understand what I'm trying to say, secondly, your example is ridiciolous to say the least. As with Morrowind, and Oblivion there will be dozen of races in Skyrim, each with their own culture, teritory, while in China one nation, one race prevails, thus their culture, robes and whatnot...
It's not about estetic looks of your equipment nor what kind of weapon you'll wield rather how many types of weapons/equipment are there and how are they divided. In that regard Oblivion gave us bare minimun, while Morrowind had more variety and deeper customization.

This game's already been pre ordered. Along with MW3 and are going to suck my winter life away. Which I'm okay with.
Loved Oblivion and going to love this too. I hope!
I was just talking to my friend about this, starting today with the release of Battlefield I might not make it out of my house(except work/food) till the end of the winter. So this winter is now known as video game season. Tons of good games comming out in a 4 month span. Its gonna be crazy hard trying to keep up with them all.

As much as I didn't like Oblivion, Skyrim looks epic! It will be another launch day purchase for me.
I have been reading up on the features, gameplay etc, also watching videos and it does look really good.
Although with my back catalogue stacking up and tons of new releases, I think I may just be surrounded by games this winter.
I have been playing this game since I picked it up at thee release last night. So far it is pretty f*cking crazy, I don't want to spoil anything just wanna say that I love that they switched the lockpicking system to that of Fallout, it is so sweet.
Okay, picked it up last night at midnight, and it is amazing! Compared to Oblivion, it feels so polished, and is a lot more fun to play. I suggest you go get it now.
They are running a new graphics engine. Everything in this game looks absolutely beautiful. I spent like 6 minutes just staring at a plant on the ground. I also like that in menu I can take my items, and rotate them, and fully examine each individual piece.
One of my friends has been editing the werewolf page on Skyrim wiki for like an hour it is pretty funny. He has screenshots of what it was and intends to fix it later this is for our pleasure.

Most complete game I have played on the playstation 3. I just wish I had a really nice computer to play it on. The amount of stuff to do, and the scenery, ohh the scenery. I spend so much time trying to get to the top of mountains just to look out over the world. All of the different quests, the crazy amount of dungeons, The Dragons!!!! They freaking look amazing. Who here has died to a dragon because they were gawking over the looks and trying to get a better look at it. I think I spent 13 hours playing last Saturday; I haven't done that with a game since the first Diablo when I was like 12.
