Wow MvC3 hype wooo...
*crickets chirp*
Anyway, my copy shipped on Amazon, and will hopefully be here by the 18th.
Capcom's recent Media Post can get you all caught up as tho who's in the game.

There WILL be DLC Costumes and NOT just texture/palette swaps like what's already available. Check out the link!
This means Dodie and other Okami fans might get their playable Shiranui after all!
Unfortunately since I've Jailbroken my PS3 (and would really like to keep it Jailbroken), I can't quite go online with it at the moment :/
Re: Marvel vs Capcom 3: The Fate of Two Worlds - Are you ready, True Believers?
23-11 online ranked, get at me bros.
seriously my hands hurt like hell though :(
Dante is really fun to play, and Ameratsu is surprisingly hard. I think Dormammu has massive potential but I haven't figured him out for sure yet. Dr Doom and Sent will both be top tier characters. Arthur is hard as shit to hit, but once you close the distance on him, he's toast.
I also lol at all the players who pick Ryu/Akuma/Wolverine or any other shoto team. What a bunch of tryhards :P
Re: Marvel vs Capcom 3: The Fate of Two Worlds - Are you ready, True Believers?
Amaterasu isn't really that hard for me. Then again I have the strategy guide that has some sample combos to use. What's neat is that he has three weapons, so the possibilities are kind of big.
I also don't mind the shoto teams, because as I said before, people can play with whoever they want to play with, because that's the fun of fighting games. There's no real reason to complain about who plays with what, because if you know what you're doing, you can easily defeat them.
And besides, I've played a person online that has a really good Akuma. Although the person was higher level than me. 2-10 for me. -_-; Not ranked, though.
I still have a problem trying to counter Deadpool's cheapness though. "Have gun will shoot!" >.>
Re: Marvel vs Capcom 3: The Fate of Two Worlds - Are you ready, True Believers?
I haven't got to online play yet because I can't get a wireless connection at the house I'm sitting at for the next week and a half. Are you able to cross platform play? Like Ps3 and xbox live can compete against each other?
Re: Marvel vs Capcom 3: The Fate of Two Worlds - Are you ready, True Believers?
I aint touchin it till someone I know downloads Shuma Gorath.
Re: Marvel vs Capcom 3: The Fate of Two Worlds - Are you ready, True Believers?
Then you won't be touching it until next month then. You'll be missing out. Haha.
And no, there is no cross-console play.
Re: Marvel vs Capcom 3: The Fate of Two Worlds - Are you ready, True Believers?
I have played this game once at my friends house. Currently I am waiting on it to be become available on my gamefly Q. I don't see the point of actually buying it, cause within a week I would probably be tired of it. I just wanna spank some ass with Dante.
Re: Marvel vs Capcom 3: The Fate of Two Worlds - Are you ready, True Believers?
So you don't see the point of playing it online with online friends, then? If you get tired of it within a week, then you don't really play fighting games at all, do you? Lol.
Re: Marvel vs Capcom 3: The Fate of Two Worlds - Are you ready, True Believers?
I bought this game the other day, and I have found it very very hard to put down. I am absolutely loving it so far. Having not played and MvC games before, this was new for me. I love fast paced, combo focused fighting games, and this is probably the best one of those I have ever played. So many great characters. My main team at the moment is Dante, Amaterasu and Iron Man. I must admit, the fact you can be Ammy really made the decision to buy this for me. She is so kick-ass!
The final boss is hard as hell though. I have beaten him once. Still, not as bad as Azazel from Tekken 6.
EDIT* Scratch that, I just destroyed him with Akuma solo.
