Kinda hard to make an opinion at this point but i'm mildly optimistic. Although i played Front Mission Evolved and it was pretty generic on all factors.
Left Alive New Square Enix Game
Square Enix revealed a new game at the Sony TGS 2017 conference with a teaser trailer of a war zone and mechs. Little more is known about it other than the names attached to the project. Metal Gear Solid artist known for the game covers, Yoji Shinkawa is the character designer, Shinji Hashimoto will be on as producer and Toshifuma Nabeshima from Armored Core V will be directing the project.

Being a teaser trailer showing no gaming or hints of gameplay, there really isn't much you can evaluate on. They're mostly working on hype of the names attached Metal Gear Solid artist with Armored Core director together making a mech game for Square. Does have some potential, but depends on what sort of game they plan on making.
