    Gaming websites/ magazines

What magazine do you guys read/follow for game reviews? What would you recommend?

I use GameSpot but sometimes with a grain of salt since they have rated some games higher then I would of or the opposite, given a gem a lower score then necessary. I use some of their user reviews as base sometimes( if I canss readZz it)

Ign is typically my back up I don't read the reviews but I skim via Google. I occasionally read random mags at Chapters but none in particular. I use to follow Nintendo Power but that was before university...I still miss it sometimes though. I use some of their user reviews on occasion.

Oh and word of mouth helps a lot too, and I use random forums sometimes. (Whichever pop up in Google)

    Re: Gaming websites/ magazines

I visit various sites for my daily dose of news, mostly IGN, and Gamesradar, neither one though is really a spot on when it comes to reviews, in other words they don't share same opinion as me.

I still buy an old Croatian magazine dedicated mostly to PC, they do however leave few pages for consoles, and games, their reviews suit me the most. Whenever I decide to pick up a certain game to some degree I rely on their opinion, I'm glad to say I have yet to be disappointed.

I always look up game reviews on IGN before buying or even before thinking about buying a game. Their reveiws always seem to be pretty spot on and the games i have bought after seeking their advice are good so i have some faith in the site. I tried Gamespot a couple of times but it didnt seem profesional enough to be fully trusted if you know what i mean.

I would go places like IGN or, more frequently, Gamepro. Few of the games I have ever played disappointed me, but I find their reviews work alright for me.

I use the Nintendo Power for anything Nintendo related(obviously). If I just want general information than I use IGN or Gamepro.

I still subscribe to Game Informer, mostly for the associated Gamestop discount heh. I do like their features though, and their reviews aren't bad. I particularly like the way they openly ridicule stupid people in the letters. Good stuff.

Aside from that I'll usually visit Gamespot to check out basic game info and then stop by Youtube for the trailers and gameplay videos.
