So, who's got one?

aaaaaaaaaand what's your favorite game so far, assuming you have more than one? You should, given that PS+ gives you three free indie titles for PS4 right out of the gates, and they're all pretty good.

• Battlefield 4
• Contrast
• FIFA 14
• Knack
• LEGO Marvel
• Resogun
• Sound Shapes
• Warframe


Now, I haven't played LEGO Marvel yet because I've got a co-op partner that I'm waiting on to play the whole game from start to finish. That said, Knack is probably my favorite of the bunch! Battlefield 4 is amazing but I still prefer it on PC. FIFA 14 is ridiculously good, but there's the charm that comes with a tough little platformer like Knack that keeps me interested.

Don't have one but figure I should mention, I seen a few vids along the youtubes about the console getting mega hot.

Hoping to get my hands on one before Christmas. I had one pre-ordered a few months ago and it was pretty much paid off. However, my car decided it needed $2,000 worth of repairs so I canceled it.

Personally, I really despise the premier title lineup. The only shooters I have ever really cared about are Gears and Halo. If I get one then NBA Live 14 is the only title I will pick up until Diablo III, Carmageddon, and Destiny roll around. Just kind of waiting for the first two weeks worth of reviews to come around.

*sigh* nope not yet. 29th here in Aust So long as I actually get it, in my hands, in tip-top condition thats the main thing. Im def gonna buy the camera now few of my girlfriends loved it(n they are not gamers at all) after watching this video.This episode just cemented the sale of many PS4 Cameras. It looks fun and Ice-T kicking the little dude into the screen was a system seller in itself. LOL hehe Altho I really wont get a chance to sit down n play with my PS4 as I'll be heading overseas. Ever since they announced the PS4 exclusives, Knack has always been the launch game Ive been looking forward to the most. I played it at the EB Games Expo along with some other games( n the gameplay was harder than I anticipated I love platformers n am so sick to death of all the repetitive FPSs they kept shtting out last/current gen. Gimme a fun platformer over a FPS any day of my life. All that said, I love Halo lol n since Bungie are now with Sony, Destiny is my third favourite PS4 exclusive, second being KillZone. Also Mark Cerny one of my idols, what a resume- created some of the best games of my childhood and for my favourite console n PS4 head architect, real genius. Im just so sick of all these FPSs X__X aand Sports games ew. No thnks. Even with all that advanced hardware, Im really hoping this next gen era will bring focus back onto games with more substance. Esp RPGs *cough*

Most units sold through the entire first month of launch in the NA region.

In one day.



I think the console's February 2014 launch in Japan has something to do with that though. Region-free hardware, bet a lot of Japanese players imported them back over from the States!

When you look at it like that, gets the message across much better!

Seeing all of the consoles AND the handhelds put up against eachother like that then the PS4 sales..in just 24 hrs. Um Mind Blown. Sony began researching how/what they could improve upon for their next-gen console as early as 2007, not long after the official release of the PS3. They deserve those sales n success.

Now Nintendo...I have a feeling they'll pick up soon.

Edit: There are a few consoles missing from that graph hm not sure why.

I'd assume it's because their numbers are less relevant; likely lower than PS3's initial sales.

I'd like to see an updated version of this after the 24h XBO sales, and a follow-up with the four-week sales of each console when the time comes. I know the XBO won't hit anywhere near PS4 numbers because the consoles literally do not exist in the same quantity, but I'm genuinely interested to see how it will stack up with other items on that chart.

I picked up a PS4, only got Killzone for now.
Picked up Resogun and Contrast with the free month of PS+, but have yet to play them.
Madden should come at Christmas.

I kind of regret buying the system so early. I wish I would have waited, Killzone was such a let down and its the only launch game I was looking forward too.
Oh well, Destiny beta is coming to PS4 first so that'll be nice.
