    Child of Light

Firstly, apologies if there's already a thread on this game, the forum search function was hanging for me.

Has anyone picked up this title? I've been thinking about getting it for a few weeks. The only thing stopping me getting it from the PSN on PS3 is that I'm considering getting a PSVita, because it's about time to upgrade my (new, slimmed-down, crap no-internet) PSP, and it'd be a good first title to get.

So has anyone played it? What do you think of it? Looks beautiful, and I really like games that put attention into the art direction.

It does look beautiful. It plays nice too, and the rhyming narrative and script are adorable. The story is lovely.

I have it on all three systems, but I've only played it for the PS4 so far. I give it a thumbs up!

I played it a little when it first came out. Wasn't huge on the battle system, I probably should pick it up again and finish it.

I ended up getting a Vita and this game for it from PSN. Really enjoying it so far, but only played 40 minutes. Found out the music is by Cœur de Pirate, which is cool.

I just played the demo for this one and I must say it is awesome. Simple-to-learn gameplay, with a leveling-up system grid vaguely akin to that of FF-X, stunning visuals, with innovative story-telling (so far). Maybe it's the brazenly childish content, but it sort of feels like ICO or Shadow of the Colossus. I really like this one and aim to purchase it pretty soon.

A warning: this game is rather short and very easy. I've only lost one battle, and that was because I tricked a monster to fight me that was not meant to be accessible at the stage where I lured it into fighting me.

Still fun though. You'll be about level 45 by the end of the game; a new game plus is necessary to learn all the skills.

Sure, I can excuse the brevity. But there are a lot of ways they could have made this harder. I think I used healing items twice. Still love it though.

Would you recommend it for a child then? (I got a niece whose birthday is coming up soon)

im having some issues with this, if it was a game disc, it would make more sense, as the game seems to be skipping as though i have a scratched disc, ended up iving it up and turning it off when each move in battle was taking about 5 minutes a peice!

Anyone else had/having issues? its driving me mad ):
