I just purchased this delightful title for the Vita, despite some of the reviews I have read. The game is as charming as it is addictive. Its really enjoyable to see your kingdom getting built up from nothing. The gameplay so far has been quite easy, which I think is great since noone wants to be frustrated while they are learning how to play a game. I expect the game to become more difficult as I progress, as I'm only 2 hours in at the moment. Some of the little things in this game that stand out to me is how your citizens greet you as you walk past them, and how they all interact with each other. Some people wave to you as you walk past, some people might bow. Also, soldiers can fall in love then you make em get married and they have kids which grow up to be citizens which can be used as soldiers or workers in your royal guard. The graphics are lovely, despite the odd slowdown here and there which can only be attributed to some minor deficiency in the programming, in respect to the power of the vita. Theres actually nothing other than that I could say negatively about the game at this point. The reviews I have read have put me off ever reading a review again. IGN slated it with a 5.8 saying that the controls sucked and that the whole game is a chore. I honestly believe they have no idea what an rpg is. I think that might have been the same reviewer who said that Ar tonelico had too much 'talking'. Wow, he must totally dig RPG's...

Anyway, anyone with a vita, should definitely check out this charming game and give your opinions here and also post to ask any questions you have about the game.
