Black Rose Valkyrie Releasing in June

Compile Hearts latest JRPG Black Rose Valkyrie has been announced for Japan to be out in stores June 30th. Since the announcement of the game, new details have come out about the game. Most noteable is that the character designer for the game is Kosuke Fujishima known for being a character designer for the Tales games as well as his popular Ah My Goddess manga.

The game is set after an unknown virus infects the world resulting in the deaths of millions and altering others. Affect humans are called Chimera and attack other humans spread the virus and transforming them as well. To combat the danger, special humans known as Valkyrie have equipment only they can wield to fight against the threat to humanity.
