Sig Threads In General
-Don't post any one-liners. 2 sentences at minimum. You have to be on topic. NO SPAM.
-If you post in someone's banner-art thread, don't post your own work in theirs. That's taking their attention away. Go make your own thread if you want to show off your stuff.
-Not all sig threads are "shops". If it's just a comment thread, then don't request in it. Try to offer some decent feedback on their sigs, rather than a "wow tat is so gud!" comment.
To Sig/Ava Makers:
-Upon making a thread, you must supply SAMPLES of your work in your first post.
-You can advertise your sig shop in your sig.
-If you make a sig-making thread and it ends up being dead for a month, I'm going to close it.
-Don't overprice your sigs.
-No using real money to sell your sigs. We just use forum gil.
-Signatures that are over-sized will stretch the page's width. For your ideal signature image, I'd say around 480x180. Anything bigger than that is kind of unappealing.
-Avatars are also 125 by 150 pixels or 97.7 KB at maximum.
-If you want to improve your sig abilities, check out the Banner Artists United club. We can always use more members.
To Those Requesting a Sig/Ava:
-Do not post your request more than once. The sig maker sees every post you make in their thread. This is considered pestering. If they do not answer, they most likely don't want to do it or lack the time.
-If a sig maker requests gil for their work, be sure to pay them their gil. It's the least you can do.
