Avatar/Banner Requests

I decided that we really needed one of these, as it's better than seeing a bunch of dead-end avatar/banner request threads clouding the Art forums.

Here's the deal. If you want someone to make you an avatar/banner, this is where you'll ask.

If you are an Avatar/Banner maker, please PM me to put you on the list.

Rules:

(You must obide by forum rules as well)

1. When you ask someone to make you a sig, please make sure the image is in good quality if you want to supply them with it. The easiest way would be just to tell them the character/picture you want.

2. Don't be too extravagant with the details you give the Sig maker. Being too particular can be annoying.

3. You may PM to ask someone on the list to make you a set. HOWEVER, you can post in this thread the images and description of the set you want so any of the sigmakers can look and decide if they want to make it or not.

4. No harrassing/abusing the sig makers. If they can't make it, then they can't and that's final. Try someone else.

5. Don't overwhelm yourself with sig requests. Anotherwards, don't hog all the requests. There's other members who can make sigs, and if you're constantly like "I'll make yours! I'll make yours!" right after another, there will be no work for anyone but yourself.

6. If you accepted someone's request, don't leave them hanging for too long. If you keep making them wait, then you may as well tell them to find someone else, but try and be polite about it.

7. When someone makes you a banner, be sure to give them credit in your sig.

Since it's my birthday, I figured it's time for a change, so I'm looking for a banner & sig featuring Shikamaru, Hinata & Inner Sakura, my fav characters from Naruto (you've got to have one Naruto-themed sig in your internet lifetime, right?). I don't care if they're fanart if the fanart is good and the whole thing just looks good that way...No bigger than, idk, what's reasonable? 450x155 sounds about right...no bigger than that, I guess. Also, I'd prefer a more Hinata in action pic as opposed to one of her shy aw shucks moments, something like this only better quality (from her chuunin exam fight with Neji)...



I'm going to be posting this in several forums I go to, so I hope this means I'll get the best work from people, since I may not use it unless I think it's the absolute best (or maybe if more than one is really cool I'll use different ones depending on what forums I'm in...what a concept!).

As for the avy...I would like the same characters, though whether it just flashes from one to the other or does something fancy like a morph, I'd like it to also include a frame of my current avy (specifically when it says STABBY).

Perhaps you can use my current sig as a basis if you want to know my style, but that's not necessary as long as it looks good, really...it doesn't have to say my name (though if you're going to shorten it, just go with V), nor does it have to say Obnoxiously Evil, but you can use that or play on it (Obnoxiously Naruto almost sounds good), but I think I'd rather you play with it however you see fit.

At the very least, I'll post everyone's attempt in this post.

That's a hard one V...I swear I tried I even rendered Hinata's Pic's you post and rendered Inner Sakura's pic too!!

Still it's hard to make that sig you want and god no how much I tried!! why don't you ask Mitsuki for help? she's the best with the PS.

Hmmm...I'll need to go to the library to properly load a Hinata vs Neji fight in high quality so I can take a better pic...my 56k makes loading such...difficult, to say the least...Also, I've been thinking a pic of Shikamaru at his desk would be nice...possibly even a pic of him asleep there!...just an idea anyways...I don't much like his thinking pose, really and it'd be difficult to fit into a banner properly anyways.

Starting off this could be fun for all of the registered sig makers.

Ok this is a first for me, as seen in the changing my user name thread I have requested to go back to Meier Link, seeing I have been having trouble finding decent pics and my time is limited on making sigs I am challenging some of you to try to make me a dang good one that still has that old school anime feel. If you are up to it, make me one and PM me the link and if I deem it up to par I will set it up after loco changes my username.
Plus credits will make it into my sigy

V, I'm gonna give yours a go, but do you have any good pictures of Inner Sakura? I've found a good one of Hinata fighting Neji and one of Shikamaru, but none of Inner Sakura. If I'm unable to get a hold of one, is it okay if I use a different Sakura image?

Hmmm...I kind of like the second one...but I don't think it's quite what I'm looking for. I've been talking with someone else & I think I'm going to go with 3 separate character banners...and so far two of them at least are done...but I still need an avy...I want a simple animated one that shows each character's face & also the part of my current avy when it says "stabby"...maybe I should just look for a prog that can make .gifs myself or something...

EDIT: I got it! I really like the 3 banners I got & was glad I could use them to make my current avy too...

OK I have my user name back so but I have decided to let my challenge run a little bit longer, I have 2 sets so far to choose from, they are both really good. Anyone else going to try and them? I have switched back to my old avi but if someone can make one I like more I will switch to it when the challenge is over. If you havent noticed I did not put back up my sig pic, it will be left open until I make my choice at the end of the day on the 29th. The challenge is open to people out side of this thread also, figured this would be a good place for it.

What is up with and the challenges as of late? I think this is the 3rd this week.

Could someone make a banner for me? I want one with Ichigo from Bleach in his Bankai form and he's looking at you with his back turned. Try to find one that is kinda big (When I do my banners, I always have tendency to find small ones ).

If any of you cool cats that have leet skeet skills with making a sweet sig banner to go along with my avy, that would be great! I don't have any sweet pics for you to go by, but my character is Rock Howard from the Garou: Mark of the Wolves/King of Fighters/SNK universe basically. I tried a simple google search of basic pics but none really appealed to me, so pick one out and suprise me I guess? lol. Anyways, someone hit me up with a tight banner and I'll hit you up with some thug love irl, mkay? peace.

Just... as a thought... for future sig makers:

When you say things like "Here it is, I made it in 10 minutes, whatever," it doesn't necessarily speak to your skill as much as it does your unwillingness to put thought into the things you produce. It says that you throw things together quickly and expect applause for your minimal effort that resulted in something passable. Whether or not that's true, you tell me. But that's what it looks like. If you have enough time to volunteer to make a banner for someone, you have enough time to work on something for more than 20 minutes. Or at least pretend that you put more time into it than that.

But hey, that's just my opinion. It's your reputation as a sig maker, not mine.
