I doubt this will help but I was looking online for PS3 Private chat or party chat like the XBOX360. Didnt get a definite answer but there is a possibility Sony will give us an update to chat with a certain number of friends whilst playing PS3 games such as FFXIV. If you happen to find any further info on this, I would love to know about it. /dance4 ^^
