Why are there 2 links to profile?

I was wondering why are there 2 links to your profile on the top right of page (Welcome, (user), Notifications, My Profile, Settings, Log Out)?

Your user name is a link to your profile, as is My Profile. Seems unnecessary to have 2 links, to the same place in the same area. Maybe just keep user name as link to profile, get rid of My Profile? Also is it possible to change Settings, to User Cp? User Cp sounds better and I think that is what most members are familiar with. Depends on if other members care or not I suppose. I'm not complaining, just wondering. Idk much about this stuff. It's not a big deal and maybe there is a reason for it idk about.

Omg, I just noticed that. The redundancy is amazing...pretty sure it's just vbulletin though.

Yep, the redundancy is a "feature" of vBulletin. I am planning on fixing it, but it is extremely low on the priority list, since it doesn't affect anything. Settings is wrong since it is more than just settings. Why would I go to Settings to check my PMs? I will change it to "My Account" which explains exactly what it is. This is also as close to a web standard as there is.

edit: OK Settings is now My Account.
