In fact, why don't they warn a webmaster about it before blocking it? Say, "Hey, you have a bad file here. If you don't want us to tell Firefox to block your site, please remove it immediately. Thanks!"

Well, for one thing, they have no idea how long it's gonna be before the webmaster replies/acts on it and why should people be exposed to it while Google waits for them?

Why do we need firewalls, antispyware or antivirus software? The great, omniscient Google God will protect us from everything bad and evil.

How exactly is blocking a clean site a "good" thing? Also, they can't even give you any information on what is allegedly bad. They just blanket ban sites and expect you to randomly guess what the **** they banned it for and where it is. Most of the shit it flags are caused by links on their site that were hijacked and reroute people. If you go directly to the site without going through Google, you won't have any problems on the majority of the sites it flags.

Also, how exactly do porn sites, hacker websites, etc which are known to have viruses, etc that our antivirus progs go nuts over go completely unchecked by Google? They are still open for business selling sex and illegal programs while the legit sites are being blocked by a biased company with shitty programmers. It's about as stupid as Vista's UAC designed to "protect" you.

They'll ban your site in seconds, but even after they claim it's cleaned, it takes them weeks to get Firefox to recognize it. How the hell is that a good system, and what is it protecting you from? Google isn't the Internet Police. Whoever thinks they should be needs a reality check. They made a good search engine. Then they decided to make it all about the benjamins and it all went downhill after that.
