Sometimes the old DNS will get cached in your browser and you need to restart your computer to flush the old set.
I'm thinking the issue you were having was related to this and it should be resolved by now, however, I have a mod_rewrite enabled to for the 'forum.php' and 'forums.php' so that should have worked anyways, which makes me a little worried... so something I will take note of and look further into as I continue to clean a few things up in the backend!
You may also notice that all URLs should now auto-redirect to the 'https' version.
