TFF link failure and address change

So i noticed that I could not access the site the past few days. first error being that the site does not exist the second being a link to that would 'never resolve'.

I have the site bookmarked in my browser and notcied that once I opened it from google, the actual adress had changed. In my bookmark was different to what loaded from google.

    i had http://thefinalfantasy.net/forums/forum.php
what fixed it is when i corrected it too
    http://thefinalfantasy.net/forums/forums.php

Not sure what that was all about, but im curious.

    Hey man,

Yeah, sorry about that! I got a new dedicated the IP for our domain (thefinalfantasy.net) and had to update the DNS... While the DNS updates there are bound to be a odd issues here-and-there for up to 48 hours until everything has been refreshed. Sometimes the old DNS will get cached in your browser and you need to restart your computer to flush the old set.

I'm thinking the issue you were having was related to this and it should be resolved by now, however, I have a mod_rewrite enabled to for the 'forum.php' and 'forums.php' so that should have worked anyways, which makes me a little worried... so something I will take note of and look further into as I continue to clean a few things up in the backend!

You may also notice that all URLs should now auto-redirect to the 'https' version.
