Sorry for asking this. Thought I've seen it somewhere in the FAQ/sticky section but have no luck finding it whatsoever. Feeling very derpy right now.

If you're asking about how to level up just keep posting. There was a thread or post about what each 'job' is and how many posts are required to reach them but I can't seem to find it after a quick search. I think you're like 9 posts off you're next one and the next one is another 50 after that. Honestly they're nothing more than a goal and once you get to 200 posts and can start legitimately repping other members (if that's still the limit) then they don't become as useful. That's my take on it anyway.

Hopefully that answered your question as you didn't actually ask one in the first place.

I started out getting them once every 25 posts if I remember correctly, then came 50. Might keep going up

After doing alot of digging, collecting ranks and studying their approximate post number ranges, I managed to sort them out. Here's (all?) the ranks in their right order:

Did I miss any more ranks? Last one I missed was TFF General. Best place for each specimen is the name change thread. Esper was found in FF6-9 trivia and Guardian Force in Cleft of Dimension's Euro Club thread. Jester was a tricky bastard. Don't know where I found him, possibly Cleft.

I am formerly known as Cobain, I made that list and allowed Fuzz and this website to use it. I remember the many faces of long time TFF peeps such as LocoColt, Andromeda, Merlin, and OmegaGear.

Anyways the pc I made that on was ruined, however I kept the hard drive, I still have not taken the data off it though. I am sure the list is on that HD though.

Omega119 you are really close, the changing of ranks happens faster in the beginning because its a concept to get people to post more and increases retention of members. They see a rank change they think "hey that's cool, I am leveling up".

It used to be a sticky on the forum for people to see all the ranks, however I could not find it in a search either.

Regardless I am almost certain there 50 total ranks, I believe each colored set was supposed to have 5 in it, so I can see a green set, and blue set that are missing one. However one of the sets have 9, and that set should have 10. I dunno I came up with a mathematical formula to end with 10,000 posts and above being the max, as that is a long term career at a forum board.

If one of the mods/admins might be able to find the total list, as it will be in the VB system for user ranks that they can log in to.

In closing, I am sure there are 50, I could be wrong however am fairly certain there are 50. My list also had descriptions I thought, if I find it someday I will come back and share it.

It'd be really cool to know all the ranks. There're only 4 yellow, 4 cyan, and 4 purple and 9 pink ones. There must be 4 missing ranks. Let me guess, Paladin, Ninja, Wizard, ???.

I would also like to know where the rankings list has gone off too. Mainly to read their descriptions. If anyone can find the thread with the rankings and their descriptions, it would be very much appreciated for everyone.

Odin, I just browsed the admin panel for about an hour... I've got the portion of the postbit nailed down but all that does it call up to an image group that I can't access directly. Either Fuzz or Merlin will have to grab that list for you.

It's so weird though. I can't seem to find the 5th light green rank. It should be very common, since the post count requirement for it isn't too high. I checked the ranks of every forum member with approximate post counts for the missing ranks and I couldn't find anyone. I only found Ninja and it was one of the rare ones, because not alot of people get that high in rank, but what kills me is why I can't find one forumer with easier missing ranks? I was dying to find out what's between Heaven Knight and SeeD Captain and Sage and Holy Knight.
