Forum has gone HTML

Just an observation. It looks as though the forum has gone a little HTML on me. I'm not sure if this is the case for anyone else, or how long it will last. I can post a few screen shots....although I am trying to do that now, and I can't seem to manage attachments.

Let me know if anyone else is getting this.

These were taking using the chrome browser on my iPad.

I am viewing with a different browser. On my iPad by the way. Safari seems to work just fine. Could just be chrome. I am trying to work out the kinks on my end.

View Page Source? I don't know it could be the mobile site having issues. I'm on Firefox and Chrome and it's working fine.

Possibly. It seems to be working better now. I closed and opened my browser. I'll let you know if it happens again.

Aye, that was likely the issue.

Periodically when browsing from -insert mobile device here- it has a hiccup and doesn't load all of the CSS and HTML5 stuff, and I get the same kind of HTML tree like you saw in your screenshots. Closing the browser always fixes it for me. It's just a loadtime issue.

I suspect an iOS based issue here with the chrome browser. It works just fine for me on my android, no hiccup. If that does happen, I will update this post.

EDIT: I did think of something though! Check your encoding on your chrome browser: go to the 3 bar symbol (located on the top-right corner of the browser), from there go to tools > encoding > and set your encoding on Unicode (UTF-8) if it isn't already.

Your browser might be having issues with the encoding you are using on your mobile device. If Unicode is the one already set on that list, I recommend auto-detect.

Ooh, Thanks Sabin! I didn't find the tools and encoding setting, but I was able to find a place to auto detect encoding. I found it was off, and I turned it on, under the content settings. The chrome browser seems to have changed when iOS 7 started. We'll see if that does anything.

Yeah generally when I see that layout I look at the Page Style and see if it's changed but that's for normal browser. woot it works now for you!

It has happened again. Even with the auto-detect encoding enabled. It looks like I will have to just deal with it.

Seems to be iOS? Works fine on my Android.
