    Deleting VM's

Is there a reason why members can't delete unwanted vm's? I've sent messages to myself by accident a few times and the only option for getting rid of them is a 'soft delete' which just deletes the text. It isn't a pressing question but I was just wondering if there is a way to get rid of unwanted vm's all together.

I'd imagine that the reason for the soft delete is because staff need to be able to go back and see deleted vms if there's ever an issue.

Also, if you delete a vm that you've sent to another person, you can still see what you wrote, but the recipient cannot.

I can't double check because with mod status I see all deleted vms, so I don't remember if other members can see the notification that shows the message was deleted. But still, even if so, they can't see what you had originally written.

I was thinking that since I'm artificially creating it, I'll create it with rocket fuel instead of blood, and thus it will be able to fly, using the dolphin's dorsal fins as wings. And from the air, it will look down upon us all and protect us against sharks, and search for bananas.

Oh that makes sense thanks. I wasn't sure if there was an option to change it or not but if it's for the staff then that's fine. Thanks again.
