To me, it just seems people have an issue with the comments and people using it to flame each other and people overly using it on friends.

The first issue about comments is void because... people can still flame, so it's just the friend issue. Make it so you can't rep the same person more than once a week, and before you can give them another rep in the next week, make it so you have to give out ten reps to other people.

Limitations are good sometimes.

I support this 100%. Let's wrap it up with post counts in a neat little package and punch it into the sun! Then I won't feel so inadequate about how low my stats are.

Speaking of stats; the rpg stats, money, and equipment systems need more attention than any of this. As it stands they're sort of just a clutter. But without a coder it will be ignored largely out of necessity. Oh well.

Agreed. Nonexistant things can't be exploited like existant things can.
Feedback could always be given via VMs/PMs...
