Not dimensions, the file size itself. The limit's about 100 kilobytes. Any way we can up it. Like to 150? 200? Just a bit more. The age of 56k was a very long time ago. We image tag huge ass pics in threads now. I'd like to be able to make an animated gif without having to spend half an hour figuring out how I'm going to get it to fit. Please?

Also, I think it's silly in the age of 1080p that we still have the avatar sizes limited to 125px wide. I'll likely up that to 160x160 while I'm in there.

Ugh. I wasted a lot of time. I didn't remember that the avatar restrictions were included in the usergroup permissions... I think I scoured the entire database permissions and template settings twice each. On the bright side, it was a nifty reminder of where everything is.
As soon as I finish adjusting these (sadly, they are by usergroup and will require multiple [but very quick] edits), I will post an announcement regarding the alteration.
