Yes I am staff and am asking the question on the behalf of the users. What's going on with the recent down times and crashes. I am left in the dark with the recent server issues and page errors.

Every time Fuzz fixes it, it gets unfixed again - something (or likely someONE) is DDOSing the website, it would seem. I don't see any evidence of intrusion from my end, but I don't have full server access, so I can't check all of the non-forum logs to see what's up with the servers.

I sent him a message yesterday, but I'll try him again.

I've seen it down like once...2 days ago...for like 10 minutes. None since then.

It was down most of the night last night. And the evening as well, for that matter.

It went down for me all day the other day. I presume some moron DDoS'ing, like Loco said, or perhaps, since it's summertime, the forum is getting swamped with new guests viewing everything and can't keep up with the amount of people. Like an unintentional DDoS.

Anyways, yeah… the server has been going through some serious hiccups lately. One of the small sites I host got hacked and that is why the server was down for a long time a day or 2 ago. There have also been some small down times every now and then over the last few weeks due to some new configuration in PHP. I am working on that now. Hopefully all this will resolved!

So that's the deal. Fortunately, no DDoS or other bull like that, but one of the other sites Fuzz runs was compromised. May be seeing some more downtime here and there until it's repaired.
