chapter 11 and 12 (warning: spoilers)

I'm done with chapter 11 and about to board the plane to go back to coocoon. If I go there now, will I lose the chance to do all the side quests back in Pulse? Can I still go back to Pulse after chapter 11? And one more thing, where do I find everyone's ultimate weapons? I heard lighting's lion heart is in chapter 12 but where is it? Thx

No, you will have the chance to go back to Pulse and indeed, most of the Cei'th missions you won't want to do until much later anyways.

As for weapons, you don't find ultimates anywhere, you upgrade them from the weapons you have. Lionheart is not Lightning's ultimate weapon. Any weapons you miss you can buy at a store. The hard part is finding the items you need for the upgrades since it'll take a lot of gil and patience.

The item costs 2 million gil from the store and is called Trepezohedron. It also drops from monsters, but it is a rare drop. You know those really big adamantoise with gear on them. They drop the item.

Can I use trepezohedron on any lighting's weapon even if it's at lvl 1 and it transforms into the ultimate weapon? What about other characters?

No you have to go through the steps it'll only work on the tier 2 version of any weapon. All characters weapons to go to their final 3 tier form requires the item, but all tier 2 weapons will change into the ultimate weapon regardless of which weapon you choose. The only difference is the stats depending on which weapon you use. So you could end up with a weaker ultimate weapon if you choice poorly.
