Am I just crazy or is this familiar enough to be considered a little bit over a coincidence? Watch this and tell me what you think.

The not so new anymore trailer. (If you haven't seen the new one just search it/ask me for a link, not dubbed yet but it's so nicely subbed). Anyway, notice the fireworks in the background and how the two are riding on a sort of hover bike type vehicle.

Okay, notice any similarities? I know it might just be stupid of me to think this but it's been haunting me so I was curious to know what everyone else thought.

Wow, that really is quite a striking similarity, for about 20 seconds. I think it's completely insignificant, however. Snow and that girl (what'sherface) are getting married. Balthier and Fran -- while I have deep suspicions -- have nothing of the sort. The only relationship between the two videos is fireworks and motorbikes.

I think after like 20 FF games there's BOUND to be some similarities game-to-game.. Like 13 and 7. Both have train sequences.. Both leading to an area. (Midgar in 7, Cocoon in 13).
They should hire new blood.

Haha interesting. It's similar, but I think FF13 is going to be much better than FF12. I wouldn't just write it off as "oh, it's already just like ff12" when we haven't even played it yet.
But of course, there's going to be much more similarities in-game, I'm sure. Fan service.

Well, we all know that Final Fantasy has always had a reputation for 'gravity-defying hair'. I mean.. look at Clouds
....Dude, don't forget Sora, Roxas, Sephiroth, Zack, and that Ingus dude.
Square probably has a weird obsess with guys + spiky hair.... If not, probably for the girls to drool at.

But in other words, they look slightly the same... If you didn't know, Snow and Sarah are engaged, and they're having a bit of a romantic moment there... Fireworks are pretty, are they? >v< It doesn't haunt me at all. I don't see the similarities, besides the fact that two people are riding on hovering vehicles and fireworks are going off.
