I am wondering about the question of when it is recommended to explore the world of pulse? Must I do it in chapter 11? or is there a way to go back to pulse on later chapters and explore the Faultwarrens then?

You can go back and explore after you leave if you wish. However, I would recommend doing a bit of leveling in Pulse first.
