I am wondering where moogles actually come from. There is no indication in the games that explains this. Not about where the first moogles came from. So where did they come from?

Moogles first appeared in Final Fantasy III.
As for where they came from, I think they are like most creatures/monsters in the games and are just native to their respective planets.
Or maybe they are like Clefairy and came from the moon. Since the monsters in Final Fantasy VIII come from the moon (I haven't played it in a while and the story is fading in my mind, then moogles may have come from the moon as well.)

Nope. Moombas made their brief appearance in FF8. Moogles came back in IX, then disappeared again in 10 & 10-2, came back with big ass bunny ears in 12.
Moogles come from MoogleLand. or Care-A-Lot / Forest of Feelings. They could be an unknown Care Bear Cousin.
I don't think there really needs to be an explanation. They could just be creatures that are smarter than the monsters in the games.

hi there are no moogles in ff8 where did you get that idea from? thereis none in ff7 apart from mog house the only time there is moogles is in ff9 ff12 and ff13-2 has a lot of moogles in it.

13-2 only has -one- moogle. Mog. And I hate Mog. Mog is annoying. Mog's voice is annoying. Why did they need to give Mog a voice? -_-;;; I also feel sorry for Mog. S/he just gets tossed around like a foozeball with no regards as to how s/he feels about this.

FF12 Moogles aren't even moogles. They're a hybrid of small rabbits and moogles. Mostly rabbits. Just with the red ball antenna whatever on their heads.
