I've always imagined that the yellow one would taste of caramel. Or crap. One of those two.
The ones in FFIX look quite tasty though, apart from the evil face of course.
The water Flans in FFX look like chewing them will break your teeth. But the Jumbo Flan looks yummy.
FFIX ones look tasty. All they need now is a shade of brown on the flat part of the head (not on the bottom for obvious reasons)

they remind me of jelly or pudding of some substance, but I'd eat them if given the chance because I used to be chubby in a past life.
their palleteswap forms in other FFs had them referred to puddings as well, just sayian [/goku]

Am I the only person who doesn't think they would taste sweet? I guess I would guess a more salty taste. Perhaps if someone mixed up the sugar and salt when making jello. Regardless, I can't picture them tasting any good.

This thread was in General Chat before Meier Link moved it, and che posted while it was still in GC. There's nothing in the OP that really clarifies that he was specifically talking about the FF enemies.
Like most people said, I think the Flans from FF IX would be the most tasty, since they actually look like the dessert. As for the others...idk. The Japanese have really weird flavors in their ice cream (Octopus ink????), so I can only imagine that the flans could be the same.

Well it is said that on Final Fantasy XII the all famous "Iron Stomachs" guild has members who dine on Flans of all sorts and based on the loot they can drop, I would assume they taste of Carmel.
As for white pudding....I've not the slightest idea.
FFIX Flans tastes like hunny
White pudding is probably tastes like white chocolate pudding I'd imagine.

Going from the elemental ones, Water would be watery, without allots of taste, maybe like... slime? tasteless slime.
Fire should be hot to the taste, or taste like the smell of thai chili fish taco?
Air element? Eh, I say like grass, or a really dirty grass, like a muffled slimy grass. Put grass in a microwave... ANyways... Like ocra slime.
Dark element? Hmm... Like a very salty frog, or the slime from a frog persay. Or a mix of liqurice and frog slime.
The thunder elements I imagine to have a strong tartness. Horrible to the tongue and really acidic, enough to close your throat.
THe ones from FF12 tho, they look hella disgusting, like a ehh, toad. Or a dirty sewer water.
Oh, I forgot the white ones.
Well, they should have a could taste in a sense. Not peppermint or any type of mint, but have that feeling as well. As for taste, maybe like haddock or catfish, just with allots of mint and more of that gelatinous excrement.
I'm guessing that the FFX ones may just be gelatinous elements, going from that little icon in the middle of them, maybe they are just solidified elements?
