Top five favorite songs/themes in the series

This will be a bit tough to choose just five of my favorite songs in the entire series, but I'll give it a shot. These are my five favorite, but they aren't in any particular order.

1. FFIX: The town of Dali theme. Just such a peaceful, relaxing theme. When I hear it, it's hard to explain, but it just gives me this good feeling.

2. FFIV: Golbez, Clad in Darkness. I loved this theme when I first heard it and I still love it. It just sounds so badass and evil.

3. Multiple/All. The main prelude theme at the menu screen of most Final Fantasy games.

4. FFVII. Aeris' Theme. Just a touching melody. I liked how the song continued to play into the battle with Jenova after Sephiroth did you-know-what to you-know-who. It gave the whole battle a sad feel to it, which really set the whole mood just right.

5. FFIX: I don't know the name, but the song Dagger/Garnet sings from time to time throughout the game. Even if it's just going "La, la, la, la, la, la, la", it's still a touching song that just reaches the soul. But yeah, love it.

I know I said Top Five, but an honorable mention to just one song couldn't hurt. That song being Sephiroth's Theme. The one that starts out quiet with the sound of a bell or something, then gets more sinister-sounding. Second best villain theme, next to Golbez's theme.

1. 'Grand Cross'/'The Final Battle' from FFIX. The most epic fight theme of all time, not just in FF. I remember replaying the final boss over and over again just to hear the theme.

2. 'Force Your Way' from FFVIII. Again another epic boss theme. Just a plain awesome track.

3. 'Breezy from FFVIII'. Relaxing and calm. Beautiful theme. I love sitting outside and playing it on my acoustic guitar.

4. 'Ukulele de Chocobo' from FFIX. Definitely my favourite chocobo theme from the series. Adds a lot of fun to the dreary stages of the game.

5. 'The Cradle Will Fall' from FFXIII. Scary, scary theme. Adds a hell of a lot of atmosphere.

These are my 5 favorite songs, thought not in any particular order.

1. 'A Fleeting Dream' from FFX. Such a beautiful song, really. It gives a very emotional feeling to you as you listen to it. It had actually got me into playing FFX.

2. 'Not Alone' from FFIX. This is another beautiful piece. I don't remember exactly when it's played in the game, but I love it.

3. 'Tifa's Theme' from FFVII. Now this one, much like Aeris' theme, I hadn't really cared much for it before. The remix of it, made on Dissidia Duodecim had got me to love it. It's just... A really good peice.

4. 'Matoya's Cave' from FFI. An oldie, I know. xD I loved this one ever since I have played FFI. I would always go to Matoya's Cave, just so I could hear it. There's just something about it that makes me love it.

5. 'Battle Theme' from FFVI. Who couldn't love this one? x3 It has to be the /best/ battle theme out of all of them, in my opinion. I just love it so much.

Your #5 is Song of Memories written by Nobuo Uematsu

My top 5....oh man, so many to choose from. But I think I have a top 5.

1. Someday The Dream Will End- Everything about this song, the instruments, the ambience, everything about it is beautiful and although you hear the song during the end of your end, it's still very nice.

2. Judgement Day- just a powerful song, makes me want to kill the magic pots, but it's just kind of a reassuring song to finish the job.

3. Aeris' Theme- there are days I listen to it and tears come down my face, I'm 25 years old I don't cry often but sometime hearing the song reminds of people who have passed, a beautiful/sad but beautiful song

4. The Man with the Machine Gun- one of my favorite battle themes and I just love the whole sound, I love it when I'm playing FF8

5. Rosa's Theme- better known as the Theme of Love, it's just a beautiful piece enjoying the beauty of love and that true love is real in the world.

I had so many options to choose, but this is my top 5. I wanna see more.
