Does anyone know where I could find the FMV sequences from VII, VIII, and IX in high resolution? Obviously they won't be in HD, but something a little nicer than usual. What about the cutscenes from X?
Anything torrent related out there? I'd love to be able to watch them all again.

I don't know if it is allowed to be linked here (it might be against the rules), but I found a site that you can download Final Fantasy FMV torrents from. I just typed in Final Fantasy FMV downloads in google search and it was the first thing that popped up. I hope it's the quality you're looking for. I never downloaded anything from a torrent, so I don't know how it works.
I hoped that helped a bit.
If you just want to watch some of the scenes again, I suggest just using Youtube. You can usually find whatever scene you want, but you do have to deal with the fuzzy compression stuff on a lot of the vids.

Actually there's nothing wrong with this topic.
Torrents, like emulators, themselves are perfectly legal, it's just mostly associated with piracy which makes it a no-no.
The only Hi-res FMVS I can think of off hand aside from ones from the PS2 FFs would actually be FF8 on the PC had near DVD quality FMVs (640x480) while the PS1 version was only half that resolution. Avoid FF7 PC though for FMVs, those were notoriously WORSE looking than the PS1 version.
